Kelly and David Wedding

Kelly and David’s prep and reception was at a new Austin venue, a villa in the Lake Austin / Ski Shores area.  Beautiful!!  The ceremony was at Hyde Park Baptist Church – where Nancy and I were married on a Valentines Day many years ago.  Lots of fun in the various nooks and crannies of the villa with two balcones and views of Lake Austin.   And the unique ending was making smores followed by the lighting of Chinese lanterns on a perfect January evening (check it out below).  Thanks to Kelly, David and their families for letting me a part of this very beautiful wedding!

Lauren and Will

Lauren and Will were incredibly fun to work with.  You wouldn’t know it, but it was 45 degrees when we did this shoot late on a Sunday in December at the Arboretum and the 360 Bridge.  But that didn’t seem to bother either of them at all.   One thing I love about the Arboretum is that it is green all year round which make shooting in December no problem.  In addition, we were greeted with a beautiful sunset from the 360 bridge which always makes me appreciate how truly beautiful Austin is.

Yesenia & Travas

Despite the rain, Yesenia and Travas had a beautiful wedding at Star Ranch Golf Club.  Great couple, great families and friends made for a wonderful wedding day.  You can see the versatility at Star Ranch for handling weddings and the options for photography.  I love to shoot there.  Yesenia and Travas are from the Dallas area, but selected the Austin area for their wedding.  It was an honor to be a part of it.  Our Photobooth was a big hit.  See photobooth images at the end of this post.  Note that we print right on site and post all images on Facebook and Pictage so they can be easily accessed.

Cara & Sergio

Cara and Sergio live in Southern California, but made the trip to Austin and Villa Antonia for their wedding.   I was honored that Cara and Sergio asked me to be their photographer after seeing my website and a Skype session.  I felt like I knew them, but we never actually met until the day of the wedding.  What an incredible couple!  We had a great time and as you can tell from the images, they had an incredible wedding with family and friends.
